JPRO STUDIOS WORKSHOP
This is part of our workshop, where much of the magic happens at JPro. We encourage creativity, and ordinary concrete walls dont. So we cover them up with something more appealing.
LOGO TO DIMENSIONAL SIGN
We initially did a logo design for Callahan. Later, we handled some window graphics, and eventually made a dimensional sign for their lobby.
FULL SIZE FUN HOUSE
This is Ben FranKlown's house. Ben is a character that teaches school children about energy conservation and safety. This portable set was designed and built by JPro.
HISTORY ON WHEELS
This is a mobile history museum. It teaches about the history of electricity and energy in Arizona. It was built to celebrate and educate for Arizona's centennial.
Our artisans take the time to build your project right. Here feathers are hand painted on a 20' Bald Eagle which was constructed for the Ft McDowell Fiesta Bowl Parade 2011.
LET'S BUIL DIT!
JD Winters is Founder and Creative Director of JPro Studios. He is a theming artist who utilizes modern sculpting and fabrication techniques to create immersive environments and interactive exhibits, adding a sense of reality to any visual narrative. He consistently receives awards for design and audience appeal. His design projects leverage innovation, while his expertise in fabrication and materials keep his designs anchored in construction reality.
JPro designers, engineers and illustrators make realizing any concept a reality. Our fully capable design studio can produce concept art for your project, and we do it with engineering in mind. This is the best way to carry out an idea to reality. We think ahead of the curve and make sure we are designing something that can actually be built.
THE IDEA TAKES SHAPE
Theming is the art of creating immersive environments. Whether your project calls for an entire theme park to be designed and built, or a simple prop to stand in your trade show booth, we’ll be able to create something that will attract attention.
MAKING IT REAL
Often times a project calls for elements that don’t exist, or are cost prohibitive. Our artisans are material specialists. We can work within your budget to produce product that meets your needs.
POINT A TO POINT Z
Our most successful projects spawned from a client coming through our front door scratching their head. The most exciting problems for us to solve are often the most difficult. The finished product always blows the minds of our clients and their customers. Come to us with a problem, let us work with you to solve it. We’ll take it from concept, to design and engineering, and fabricate whatever we need to, for your project to be a perfect solution to your request.
Give us a chance to work with you. We are always glad to sit down for a brainstorm in our think tank. We are very friendly and love to talk about creative projects. Please let us have the opportunity to show you what we can do for yours.
At very least, come say hello and take a tour of our studio.
Many people get the opportunity to meet great men in their lifetime. One on my list that I’ve had the opportunity to know, is Kelly Kellogg. I am also lucky to be married to his beautiful daughter.
<Click the picture here for a video of the story.
Kelly is a story teller. He has some adventures under his belt that belong in books or movies. When the opportunity arises, he’ll share a relevant tale of honor, respect, and other virtues. Often times it leads into a story that we can’t validate it’s authenticity. He’s told us time and time again when questioned on the reality of the experience, “I never let the truth get in the way of a good story.”
My wife said she wanted a Stand-up Paddleboard. I did a little research, and then said… “I can do that.”So I modeled out a board after looking at several designs online, I couldn’t find one I loved. So I took some of my favorite features, and made a 3D model.
This was a fun little project we did, just because we could. Sometimes making a little something for ourselves gives us a little boost. My wife asked me to make a stand for her phone. I couldn’t just make a stand, it had to do …Something.
Here is what I came up with. This is what we’ve nicknamed: The iGrammaphone.
A friend of mine who is a volunteer firefighter, opened an automotive garage. He came to me to have me design a logo for him. He had some inspired ideas and really wanted to have his firefighting heritage somehow represented. We went on to design a logo for him that he loves. We always take the extra care necessary to create a logo properly, as VECTOR ART. Too often customers come to us with a logo that their nephew “designed in photoshop”. This type of file is not universally compatible with different forms of print and web use. A properly designed logo is done as a vector, then it opens the doors to so many possibilities. One such thing that comes from a well designed vector logo, is our ability to turn it into a 3D sign.
This will be the first post of many. We specifically designed our new site to be a resource to showcase our projects and show how we do the things we do. This will be an exciting opportunity to showcase some projects. We’ll be showing some projects from the past, and we’ll be showcasing current projects. There will always be something exciting here, so watch this space!
